The water function of a steam brush is designed to release a fine water mist while brushing. You don't need any extra grooming product in the reservoir for that.

Which water do you use for the S900A?

For normal use, clean water is enough. Fill the integrated reservoir with clean water and don't add anything else.

Why no additives?

Oil, perfume, conditioner and cleaning products can leave residue in the reservoir or at the opening where the water mist comes out. That can affect how it works, and the substances also end up on the coat. That's why clean water is the simplest and safest choice for normal use.

What doesn't belong in the reservoir?

Can I use vinegar against limescale?

Don't put vinegar in the reservoir for normal use and don't let the brush mist it. If you want to carry out maintenance, follow the manual for your model and don't use a homemade cleaning solution unless it's explicitly recommended there.

What if the water mist seems weaker?

First check whether there's enough clean water in the reservoir and whether the reservoir is properly closed. Don't use any extra product to make the water mist stronger. If it still doesn't work as it should, check the manual or contact customer service.

How do you use the water mist while brushing?

Let the fine water mist start and then brush calmly in the direction of hair growth. The coat is lightly moistened. The water mist can help loosen small tangles more easily while brushing.
