Prime AnimalZ in February
Month two: building content, our first organic visitors and the choice to go all in on knowledge articles that genuinely help.
February was the month of building. Less launch noise, more structural content. We published 8 new knowledge articles — on kitten nutrition, litter box odour, large cats and self-cleaning litter boxes. These aren't sales pitches. They're honest answers to questions owners actually ask.
What happened in February
📝
8 knowledge articles published
From kitten nutrition to litter box odour to "why does my cat drink so little?" — these are articles people actively search for when they have a problem. Content that helps before someone buys builds the trust that leads to a purchase.

First organic visitors via Google
Still small numbers — but the first visitors landing on our blog through a search are proof that the approach works. SEO takes time: months 1–3 are for sowing, months 4–6 for harvesting.

First in-depth questions from customers
Customers are asking about setting up the feeder app and the familiarisation routine for the ball launcher. These are exactly the questions that tell us what's still missing from the manuals. Every question is an article idea.
What I learned in February
Knowledge articles work differently from product pages. Someone searching for "litter box smell causes" isn't ready to buy — but they are open to a solution. If the article is good, it plants the idea that a self-cleaning litter box solves the problem for good. That conversion happens later, sometimes weeks later.
Odour is the most searched litter box problem. That surprised me. Not price, not brand — but smell. People are willing to invest if the odour problem is solved at its root. That fits the self-cleaning litter box perfectly: clumps are removed immediately, before odour starts to form.
The XXL question comes up more often than expected. Maine Coon owners, Ragdoll owners — they specifically search for "large litter box" and "XXL litter box". There's clearly a need that the standard market doesn't meet.

What's coming in March
- Focus on dogs: ball launcher, interactive toys, water fountain for dogs
- Feeder-specific guides: double feeder, large cats, holiday settings
- A first look at the XXL self-cleaning litter box — who is it really worth it for?
Thanks for reading along. An honest story every month — that's the promise.

The answer to litter box odour
Clumps removed right after every visit — before odour starts to form. That's the principle behind the self-cleaning litter box. Odour control without daily scooping.
