Which type of dry food fits in the feeder?
The feeder works with dry food with a kibble size of 2–15 mm. That covers almost all common cat and dog foods. Kibble that is too large or sticky doesn't work well with the dispenser mechanism.
What happens during a power cut?
The built-in battery backup automatically takes over as soon as the power goes out. Your pet gets its meal on time, even during longer outages. On standby, the battery lasts several weeks. Read what you need to know about power cuts.
What exactly does a freshness bag do?
A freshness bag absorbs air and moisture in the storage compartment, keeping the dry food airtight and fresh for approx. 1 month. It protects aroma, crunchiness and nutritional value. One bag lasts a month — for a longer supply, order a six-month or annual pack.
How do I connect the feeder to the app?

Can I set multiple meals per day?
Yes. In the app you can set up to 15 meals per day and up to 99 portions per meal. Ideal for pets that get several small meals. Calculate the right daily portion here.
Is the feeder suitable for both cats and dogs?
Yes. All Prime AnimalZ feeders work for cats as well as small and medium-sized dogs. For large dogs, we recommend the models with a larger capacity (6L or 7L). Calculate the portion for dogs by weight here.
What if the feeder shows an error message?
Most notifications can be resolved in the app itself. In case of a technical fault, our customer service team is ready to help via WhatsApp or the contact page, usually replying within 1 working day.
