Prime AnimalZ in January

Launch, first orders, first lessons — and an honest account of how things really go in the first month of a new brand.

January 2026. Prime AnimalZ is live. Three products in the range, first orders processed, first reviews received. This is not a perfectly launched brand — it is a brand in the making, and I want to take you along every month to show how that is going.

What we launched

Automatic feeder — the core of our range Available in 4L and 6L. HD camera, app schedule, chip anti-theft. This is the product around which Prime AnimalZ was built — smart care for busy owners. The 6L is already the most chosen version.

Steam brush S900A — upgrade on our previous model Quieter, more powerful, suitable for all surfaces. The S900A solves the biggest pain point of the S800A: noise. First reactions are positive — owners who have been cleaning with steam for years are pleasantly surprised.

Automatic ball launcher Premium XL — for active dogs 3–10 metres, adjustable rest pause, 5 balls. This product is not for every dog — but for fetching dogs (labs, retrievers, border collies) it is a game-changer. The first owners who completed the training protocol report that their dog now plays independently for 30–40 minutes.

First lessons from January

What worked better than expected: the chip anti-theft feature of the feeder. We knew it was a strong USP — but the reactions exceed expectations. Owners with multiple cats, one of which is on a diet, are enthusiastic. It solves a daily practical problem they had for years.

What we underestimated: the training phase of the ball launcher. Dogs that did not grow up with fetching as an activity learn the principle more slowly than expected. We sharpened the training protocol and added a more detailed manual to the packaging.

What we now know: the blog works as a customer service extension. Articles about “how long can a cat be home alone?” and “how much food per day?” are found by people who already have a purchase intent. Content that gives answers builds trust faster than advertising.
