Is the S900A safe for delicate fabrics like velvet?
Yes, but use a lower steam setting and hold the head 3–4 cm away. Velvet can slightly mark with direct steam at high temperature. Always test on an inconspicuous area. For normal sofa fabric (microfibre, polyester) the S900A at full power is completely safe.
Can I use the S900A without the hair removal attachment?
Yes — the S900A comes with three attachments: hair brush (for furniture and carpet), flat nozzle (for hard surfaces) and fabric nozzle (for steaming clothes). Each attachment is available separately as a replacement part.
How often do I need to descale the water tank?
With normal tap water every 2 to 3 months. With hard water monthly. Use distilled or filtered water to slow down limescale build-up. The device signals limescale build-up via an indicator light.
