Prime AnimalZ in March — and our first 3 months
This month dogs get their own voice. And after 3 months: what works, what doesn't, and where we're heading.
Three months ago Prime AnimalZ started. Time for an honest progress report — and a look at what we'll be doing in the coming months. But first: March was the month of the dogs.

Our D600A works for cats and dogs — but we had never explicitly said so. That has changed. Dog owners have the same needs as cat owners: easier, smarter, less hassle. The D600A is now officially available for dogs too.

How does the automatic ball launcher work? How do you keep a dog busy indoors? Which interactive toys actually work? This month we fully covered the dog side of things on the blog. Dog owners are an underserved part of our audience — and that's changing now.

Open or covered litter box? Getting your cat ready for the holidays? When do you need a double feeder? This month we answered the most frequently asked practical questions from cat owners — with concrete advice, not vague tips.
3 months of Prime AnimalZ — an honest review
What worked:
- Knowledge articles that answer questions before people buy — these build trust
- Microchip anti-theft feeder: strongest USP, most talked about by customers
- The blog as an extension of customer service: customers find answers themselves and ask fewer of the same basic questions
What was disappointing:
- SEO takes time — organic traffic is growing, but slowly in the first months
- Some dogs take longer than expected to get used to the ball launcher
- Our dog segment was too small — we're fixing that now
What we know now:
- Large breeds (Maine Coon, Ragdoll) are an underserved segment — more XXL content needed
- Odour is the #1 litter box problem for owners — the self-cleaning litter box is the direct answer
- Dog owners actively look for information but find few reliable sources — an opportunity
